Our client Ryan Posey was recently recognized as one of The Journal Record's 2012 "Achievers Under 40" and he wore D. Jones attire to the presentation.  We chatted with Ryan about his D. Jones experience, and we wanted to share it with you. Here's what he had to say.

Q: Why did you decide to get a custom suit?

A:I was referred to wardrobe consultant Jason Smith and being continually disappointed with the fit of suits I purchased off the rack, decided to give it a try.

Q: What was your shopping experience like?

A: Shopping for the first suit, shirts, ties and pocket squares was incredibly enjoyable.  I have been interested in fashion for many years and the opportunity to spend time creating my own wardrobe from seemingly endless books of fabrics was so much fun.  Now as I continue to buy from D. Jones, the experience is recreated each time.  An appointment with Jason is always my favorite meeting of the day.

Q: How do you feel about your new suits?

A: The fabrics are great and the fit incredible.  The challenge now becomes freeing up room in my closet by getting rid of items that no longer meet the level of quality I have come to expect and get only from D. Jones.

Q: Do you have any other comments about D. Jones Tailored Collection?

A: The best thing is that my wife loves it too and thus is supportive of my ongoing purchases.

Q: Any advice for readers on the blog thinking about getting a suit from D. Jones?

A: Be decisive and buy what you absolutely love.  Also, know that the first buy is the point of no return.  You will never return to the world of limited choices and average fit.
